What's In Front Of You

In front of the computer screen,
I edit and edit, like a crazy fiend,
Thinking so much of what lies
ahead,
Forgetting what's before me,
Spelled out in red.

Quick to fix everyone's problems,
Trying to inspire people to leave behind the dramas.

I didn't get, the subject being projected
How appreciation, right here and now, is the future- effected.

I get lost sometimes, in my "quicker-help-er-upper"
Forgetting the most valuable of all, the bread at my supper.

The gift of all gifts,
Straight to the core
Is showing up by your side,
partner, forevermore.

With Intention,
Daniel Bobby Tuttle
